It's an absolute joke how complicated this is. In serious need of a major overhaul. Was hoping I could find a good home for two bikes but now they're sat outside gathering rust and waiting for a bike thief to take them off my hands. Oh well.

I joined this group and am now leaving as it is so unwieldy... After spending about 3 hours connecting to the group (same issues as previous posters), I now have a very clogged inbox as I can't find out how to adjust my settings to "Daily Digest" as recommended- why isn't that default setting?

I will continue in my quest to leave/unsubscribe...but again, that doesn't seem to be clear either! This is why so many things in hackney simply end up on gumtree or on a wall outside your house...I certainly wouldn't recommend this site. It's a brilliant idea but too hard to actually navigate easily...

OMG how could anything be so difficult. . Cannot remember any of my previous details yet there seems to be no way of retrieving password. both my user name and email address are recognsed but I cannot get a new password - it's not being bounced. Anyone want a breadmaker?

Try checking to see if your email account has been bouncing the requests from freecycle. I was given this link, I hit unbounce, and the email account was reactivated and started working

Time to loose the Yahoo bottle neck me thinks... login is broken... I was an probably still am a member but can't access the group some issue with linking with my yahoo ID and my email, something I have checked... my yahoo ID is my email, and I have also added an extra email just for good measure... Seem to have hit the looping issue! shame this used to work... the whole thing has always been a bit chaotic and badly designed but now I simply can't use it... let me know if you fix it.

I have to concur with tall the other comments hewre, please excue the shout but it's UNBELIEVEABY COMPLICTED TO JOIN, WOW! or even look at a photo. Perhaps it sneed an overhaul or somehting. The idea being freecyle is so simple, why the cryptic website? Will it ever be sorted out?

I'm really confused like Hannah below.... But I'm already a member of Hackney Freecycle and I've signed in but I can't view the "freebies" on offer. I keep getting another Yahoo page?.....what am I doing wrong?......It's not straight forward at all.....I keep going round and round and round and round......adlib til fade.....

I've given away loads of stuff through Hackney Freecycle over the past 3 years, but now Yahoo says it is "recycling" my username and when I try to create a new one I just go round in circles. Very fed up - surely there's a better way of doing this. I have some great stuff to freecycle, but I can't waste much more time on this.

I have to echo the comments below: just unbelievably difficult to navigate. We have a good item of furniture to give away and the system is just impossible, even though we have a Yahoo login. It seems people have been making the same complaint for two years! Please try to fix it as soon as possible.

Hi there, I'm trying to join the group. I have synced my gmail account and seem to have a Yahoo! alias but when I click on 'Join Group', no matter what selections I make, the Send Request button is faded and I cannot click on it. Any pointers please?

I love freecycle and I have used it a lot in the past, but I'm also on my second full evening trying to get in to rejoin. I can't take any more circumnavigation of the sites, and plan to use the Hackney Council furniture re-use service this time.

Hi, I have had a confirmation email of joining hackney freecycle yet cannot seem to log in to veiw posts etc....i have tried signing in with my yahoo account and facebook yet everytime the home page for the hackney group comes up with restricted members....can anyone help?
